Where We Are
The village of Sandgate, Kent
Situated on the south coast of Kent just outside Folkestone and only five minutes from the Channel Tunnel entrance, Sandgate is easily accessible both by road and rail. Central London is 1hour 30minutes drive via the M20 motorway (exit 12) and there is a good half hourly train service from London Charing Cross to Ashford International or Folkestone Central from where, by prior arrangement, clients may be collected. The International airports of Gatwick and Stansted are 1hour 30minutes drive away and Heathrow 1hour 45minutes. The port of Dover with its numerous crossings to the Continent is just 20 minutes away.
Thirty minutes drive would take you to the Cathedral City of Canterbury or to Sandwich, probably the finest preserved medieval town in the country and regular host to the Open Golf Championships at Royal St. Georges. The area is well served by a variety of excellent hotels and restaurants and is therefore an ideal stopover point when travelling to and from the Continent.
